Tridus was looking to update their magnet data sheets. They were looking to create something that could be easily used in the field and by their customers

Problem To Solve

The format had to be simple to read, easy to quickly understand and be easy to use at a job site or in the field.

End users, including engineers and office staff, would need to final product in multiple formats that
were both easy to print and share.

Software

InDesign, Illustrator, Excel

As the final product would be used by field engineers and clients for an ever growing expanding automotive, industrial and consumer electronics industries.

Given that, absolute accuracy was required ensuring that the product ordered would perform at the proper grade and level.

ACCURACY

JOB NUMBER ONE

With over fifty grades and products, Tridus needed a quick and easy reference point to help with understanding. Color blocking was chosen as the best method to assist both engineers, their assists and office staff in getting the proper data sheets to the right people..

BOLD COLORS

TO ASSIST IN RECOGNITION

Using data collected in Excel, plot points needed to be exported, then combined to keep the integrity of the data. While engineers would be the main audience, office staff and other users needed to be kept in mind. The data needed to be presented accurately and simply to ensure the product ordered, worked as promised.
